Title: Does learning other languages enhance creativity?
Preview: Any other bi- or multi-linguals out there? I spoke Italian (I come from an Italian immigrant family) before I learned English in school. Most of my adult life, I've taken an interest in learning other languages. Does anyone find that knowing more than one language enhances their creativity and thinking skills? I've been thinking about this and thought I'd share some links with .......

Preview: Poking around here sure has helped me figure things out. You never know what you'll find in MOOCdom. I like the idea of playing around, like making up words for the MOOC the way it's done on Twitter. Any ideas? We could have our own MOOCimology and make a MOOCtionary. MOOCers or MOOChers could be MOOC users/participants MOOCite might be someone who practically lives on the MOOC ....

Preview: Mara, thanks for posting the links. I had never thought about there being a connection between learning foreign languages and creativity. Glad to know I may have formed new nueral maps by doing so. I attended Catholic schools most of my life. We had a lot of nuns who spoke foreign languages so I was able to speak German fluently at the age of 12, I spoke a little French, and I learned ....
