Preview: I think Scott makes a wonderful point here that we overlook (I never really thought about it before).  We spend so much time focusing on graduation rates.  "Our school has over 80% graduation rate!"  You hear it from colleges all of the time (ESPECIALLY all of the online schools, DeVry, Phoenix, Kaplan, etc.  It's almost always one of their main selling points.)  ....

Preview: I'm not sure how much I directly visualize math.  The other analogy I always refer to in this situation is a 3-D picture, like the ones you'd find in any dentist/doctor's office, hair salon, wherever there was a waiting room in the 90's.  If you stare directly at the picture, all you see is a bunch of random colors in a semi-organized pattern.  You'll ....
