By Brandy_Erdmann, Feed Name: On Creativity & Multicultural Communication
Preview: Tablet PCs and iPads are finding themselves in more and more classrooms. Tablets are cost-effective, easily manipulated, and provide the visual stimuli that students crave. Here's a link to a list of apps available for the iPad (and many are also available on Android) and their significance in the primary school classroom.:iPads in Primary Education: Apps for Creativity in Primary Education: ....

Post Title: The Way We Live Now (Part II)
By tuckerandgypsy, Feed Name: tuckerandgypsy
Preview: I know I’m wordy and I tend to ramble…But here are the last three questions I chose to answer.   9) What piece of writing has most changed your heart and mind? Title: Re: Teachers perform miracles
Preview: I think Scott makes a wonderful point here that we overlook (I never really thought about it before).  We spend so much time focusing on graduation rates.  "Our school has over 80% graduation rate!"  You hear it from colleges all of the time (ESPECIALLY all of the online schools, DeVry, Phoenix, Kaplan, etc.  It's almost always one of their main selling points.)  ....
